Every video task around an event was on me, from the first idea to media coverage on national TV.
What I did
- Concept and video strategy: what the event should look like on screen, key moments, messages and formats for every channel.
- Planning and budgets: shooting plans, estimates and contractor budgets, often for several events running at once.
- Crews and contractors: selecting and briefing camera crews, drone operators, photographers and editors.
- Logistics and access: accreditations, permits, safety clearance, travel, and coordination with organisers and security.
- On-site production: directing the shoot, scheduling interviews and stand-ups, covering speakers, guests and atmosphere.
- Same-day content: fast edits, highlights and social cuts delivered while the event is still running.
- TV and media support: briefing TV producers and film crews, organising press approaches and interviews, providing approved footage to national and international channels.
- Visual control and approvals: brand standards, quality of the picture, and sign-off of every piece before release.
- Final films and archive: recap films, reports and an organised footage library for long-term use.
